Short version: your numbers stay on your device unless you ask the AI guide a question.
What's stored on your device
Every calculator runs in your browser. To save you retyping, the balances, rates and payments you enter are kept in your browser's localStorage under keys starting with pdw:. They never leave your device and we have no accounts, logins or database.
The AI trail guide
If you click "Explain my plan", the numbers on that calculator and any question you type are sent to our server and passed to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to write the answer. We don't store them or use them to identify you. Don't include names, account numbers or other personal details in your question.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without collecting personal data.
Not financial advice
Results are estimates for planning. Your lender's statements and payoff quotes are authoritative.
